As of the end of June 2021, the effective number of invention patents in my country was 3.324 million, of which the effective number of domestic (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) invention patents was 2.454 million, an increase of 23.0% compared with the same period last year, and the patent reserve in key core technology fields has been continuously strengthened. . According to Heng Fuguang, deputy director of the Office of the State Intellectual Property Office, as of the end of June 2021, the number of valid registered trademarks was 33.548 million, a year-on-year increase of 22.4%; in the first half of the year, 3355 market entities were approved to use geographical indications.
Heng Fuguang said that in the first half of this year, the authorized volume of patents, trademarks and integrated circuit layout designs in my country increased rapidly year-on-year, market entities were more active in innovation, creation and entrepreneurship, and the number of domestic invention patent enterprises increased steadily.
