New record that tears up the one recorded yesterday
(ANSA) – FLORENCE, DEC 29 – The new Covid cases registered in the last 24 hours in Tuscany are 7,304 out of 56,064 tests of which 24,034 molecular swabs and 32,030 rapid tests. The rate of new positives is 13.03% (50.4% on first diagnoses). The data was released by the president of Tuscany Eugenio Giani. The number of daily infections marks a new record – broken yesterday’s -, and has more than tripled in the space of a week: last December 22 the cases had been 2,038 (out of 43,963 tests with a rate of new positives of 4.64 %).
Yesterday the daily cases were 4,453 out of 57,458 tests, with a new positive rate of 7.75% (44.6% on the first diagnoses).
