Five people were rescued from distress on Lake Constance on Good Friday. They were traveling in a sailing boat that a 21-year-old could no longer maneuver in the Fussach Bay at midday due to strong winds and waves. Emergency services from the water police, the fire department and the water rescue department responded and brought the boat back to the port of Fußach using a tow line. The waves were around 1.30 meters high at the time. According to police, there were no injuries.
