International journalist highlights that El Salvador has changed and is not controlled by the gangs

In the Latin American section of the international program “En Primera Plana” on France 24, journalist Angeline Montoya highlighted the change that El Salvador has experienced, free of the control of the gangs that were strengthened in previous governments.

«The life of Salvadorans has completely changed. You have to know that, really, the country was under control, the command of the gangs that bloodied the country, Salvadorans could not go out to the streets,” said Montoya.

Also, he stated that during the pandemic it was the first country in Latin America to vaccinate its population. Likewise, it provided a bonus of $300 and distributed food, which has given him historic acceptance that will give him re-election in office.
