In a case presented in Garzón, Huila, the Attorney General’s Office presented a man accused of alleged sexual abuse before a judge with guarantee control functions.
The prosecuting body charged a man to whom a judge issued a restraining order in a detention center. This 37-year-old individual faces charges for his alleged responsibility in the crime of abusive sexual intercourse with a minor under fourteen years of age, aggravated in a homogeneous and successive contest.
According to the investigations carried out, the events date back to the period between 2021 and this year, when they would have occurred in a home in the La Nueva Floresta neighborhood of Garzón (Huila). There, the accused, who was the victim’s stepfather, He allegedly subjected the 12-year-old girl to sexual abuse of various kinds. It is believed that these abuses occurred while the minor’s mother was away working, leaving the man in charge of caring for her.

The arrest of the accused was carried out by means of a court order, executed by servants of the Attorney General’s Office.. Due to the seriousness of the charges, the man must remain deprived of his liberty while waiting for the legal process to continue its course to guarantee justice in this case.
