Paraguay and Japan sign cooperation agreement
During the Paraguay – Japan Business Forum, the potential of our country as an investment destination was presented.
Furthermore, on the occasion of the Forum, the following memorandums of cooperation were signed between Paraguay and Japan: Area of information and communication technologies, foreign trade organization of Japan and the MIC, space activities for peaceful purposes, development of space capacity for sustainable development, space industrial for space utilization, Hagihara Industries and the UNA faculty of engineering, cooperation between the Paraguayan highway association and Barchip INC.
On the other hand, President Santiago Peña presented the decoration of the National Order of Merit in the Degree of “Extraordinary Grand Cross” to Fumio Kishida, Prime Minister of Japan, who concludes his official visit to Paraguay this Saturday.
«Paraguay and Japan have historical ties that we are determined to deepen! We have a long way to go, but I am convinced that it will be a path of mutual benefit for our nations,” said President Santiago Peña.
