Every half hour from San Giorgio della Richinvelda, Kiev-born Ganna Dzhulai connects with her parents and sister to find out how they are: the thought of having relatives in Russian-occupied Ukraine torments her. “My mother and father live on the outskirts of Kiev and two hours ago the missiles fell five kilometers away from the house,” she said on Thursday 24 February, shortly after 2 pm.
