KARACHI: Member of National Assembly and Federal Minister and former convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has been elected Co-Chairman of MQM Pakistan.
The spokesperson of MQM says that a meeting of the central committee of MQM Pakistan was held at Pakistan House under the chairmanship of Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Mustafa Kamal, Farooq Sattar, Nasreen Jalil, Anees Qaimkhani, Faisal Sabzwari, Aminul Haq and Rizwan were present in the meeting. Babar was present, the central committee unanimously elected former convener Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui as the chairman of MQM Pakistan.
The spokesperson further said that in the meeting, it was decided to form a high-level central council to support the central committee on organizational and political issues, the names of whose members will be announced soon.
