Chicken franchise Genesis BBQ Group announced on the 20th that it will hold the ‘2024 National Family Meeting’ at Chicken University in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do starting on the 19th. This meeting is scheduled to be held a total of 20 times for about a month, with families (franchisees) from 2,000 stores nationwide participating in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gangwon-do, Honam, Gyeongnam, Gyeongbuk, and Jeju.
The purpose of this meeting is for BBQ members and the family to remember their original intentions and prepare for the group’s vision and the next 30 years. BBQ announced a policy to promote win-win management through ‘six key core tasks’, including fulfilling promises with consumers to pool capabilities for shared growth, and requested active participation in this.
There was also time for Q&A discussion on overall store operation policies and current issues, including future marketing and new menu launch plans. We decided to actively listen to the voices and difficulties of those experiencing difficulties due to the increase in various store operating costs, such as raw materials, gas, electricity, and labor costs, and also prepare a win-win growth plan that allows us to develop together.
A family who participated in the meeting said, “I was able to hear directly from the person in charge about the marketing activities that will be carried out this year, various promotions, new product launches, future store operation policies, franchise business laws, etc.” and “The family will maximize sales while maintaining standards.” “It was a place where we could listen to what can be done and future policies, communicate with each other, and be confident that we can grow together with the headquarters in the future,” he said.
Chairman Yoon Hong-geun said, “It was a year in which we could grow further not only domestically but also overseas as a result of everyone’s efforts to become a national brand with one mind and one mind despite many difficult business environments such as the global economic crisis in 2023.” He added, “We will celebrate our 30th anniversary in 2025. “So this year, let’s break the existing framework and boldly prepare for and develop our future with new challenges,” he emphasized.
