On Friday evening, around 6.30 p.m., there was an accident at the Hagellocher Weg/Rosentalstraße traffic circle. As the police reported, a 51-year-old motorcyclist suddenly stopped at the roundabout for unknown reasons. An 86-year-old Mercedes driver had to brake because of this. As the motorcyclist drove on, there was a collision between him and the Mercedes, with the 51-year-old sustaining minor injuries to his leg. During the accident recording, the motorcyclist became increasingly aggressive. An alcohol test revealed a value of over 2 per mille. He vehemently resisted further measures and the recording of the accident, which is why the officers handcuffed him. After the necessary blood was drawn, he had to be taken into custody because of his aggressive behavior. Again, he resisted vigorously, slightly injuring two police officers and damaging a patrol car. The damage caused in the accident amounts to around 5,000 euros. Witnesses who noticed the motorcyclist beforehand and who can provide information about the accident are asked to call the Tübingen police station on 07071/972-8660.
