A large majority of MPs in Kiev voted for the bills introduced by President Zelensky. The measures imposed because of the Russian invasion will now apply until mid-May. Martial law gives the military more rights. In addition, the regular parliamentary and presidential elections were suspended.
In the course of mobilization, men of military age between 18 and 60 are only allowed to leave the country in exceptional cases.
