Family tragedy in Mesenzana, in the province of Varese. A man killed his two children, a 13-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy, and then took his own life. It happened in an apartment in via Pezza.
The parents had been separated for 15 days. The mother left her children with their father last night. During the night the tragedy: the man surprised his two children in their sleep by stabbing them to death. Then, with the same knife he took his own life.
To discover everything – from what she has learned – it would have been the mother when this morning she showed up at her husband’s house to take back the 13-year-old and the child. Investigations by the Luino carabinieri are underway on the spot, coordinated by the Varese prosecutor’s office.
