(ANSA) – JERUSALEM, 20 JUL – Israel will host for the first time in its history the Miss Universe beauty contest whose next edition, the 70th edition, will be held in December in the coastal city of Eilat, in southern Israel. This was announced today by the Israeli Minister of Tourism, Yoel Razvozov.
“In Israel we are very happy”, said the minister in a video message, “I sincerely hope that in December we will celebrate not only the new Miss Universe here in Israel, but above all the end of the pandemic”. The 2020 edition of Miss Universe was canceled due to the health crisis. Then it was held in recent months in the United States. (HANDLE).
