The Prosecutor’s Office obtains a conviction against alias ‘Fantasma’ for triple homicide in Chocó. The convicted man belonged to the criminal organization ‘Los del Reposo’.

The forcefulness of the evidence obtained by a prosecutor from the Collective Homicide Group of the Delegate for Territorial Security was decisive for Rafael Palacios Waldo, alias Fantasma, to accept his responsibility in a triple homicide that occurred on July 1, 2023, in Quibdó (Chocó).

This man, in the company of other armed people, entered a business establishment in the Obrero neighborhood, El Piñal sector, and shot indiscriminately against several of the customers. The hitman action left three dead (Ivinson Palacios Palacios, Arleys Becerra Córdoba and David Palacios) and an injured woman, whose cell phone was stolen.

A specialized judge from Quibdó sentenced him to 24 years and 6 months in prison, and declared him responsible for the crimes of homicide, qualified and aggravated robbery; and manufacturing, trafficking and carrying of weapons, restricted use ammunition, exclusive use of the Armed Forces or explosives.
