Know how much you must pay for Mandatory Traffic Accident Insurance for 2024.
All motor vehicles that circulate through the national territory must have the SOAT up to date, which is a policy that protects in case of physical damage caused to pedestrians, passengers or drivers. This insurance covers medical and transportation expenses, permanent disability and compensation for death and funeral services.
For its part, the Financial Supervisionin accordance with the provisions of decree 2312 of 2023, adjusted the maximum rates of this insurance for the current year.
According to said Superintendency, as of this January 10, the rates of the CLOCK must be adjusted by 10.97%, corresponding to the annual variation of the Unit of Tax Value (UVT).

The Contribution to the Adres is established in article 3 of Law 2161 of 2021. For its part, the RUNT rate is established in paragraph 96 of Article 1 of Resolution 20223040055235 of 2022, issued by the Ministry of Transportation.
