Gerard turns to the Valle d’Aosta parliamentarians to change the Simplifications decree when it is converted into law

AOSTA. There is “disappointment” among the Aosta Valley hoteliers for the failure to extend the 110% superbonus to the hotel sector with the Simplifications decree. Yet “everything foreshadowed that there would be,” says the president of Adava, Filippo Gérard in a note, also because the receptive sector is “by far the most damaged and literally brought to its knees by the consequences of the pandemic”.

«The disappointment is there and we cannot hide it above all due to the fact that for us investments in the structure are essential for the competitive positioning of our companies», says Gerard.

Not all hope is lost. “We are confident that, in the phase of conversion into law, the provision can be integrated by Parliament in an extensive key for the current and current tax credits in our sector”, adds the president of the Aosta Valley hoteliers.

«In addition to our national federation – continues Gerard – we have also had the opportunity to involve and confront our parliamentarians, Albert Lanièce and Elisa Tripodi, in a continuous and constant way. Both have shown great attention to the issue and to our sector, also thanks to a specific knowledge of the regional territory and of the peculiarities of the Aosta Valley hotel tourism sector. We are sure that, as repeatedly done in the past, they will be close to the category by presenting and supporting amendments to the decree that can go in the direction of allowing a renewal of our structures in terms of energy and that this can represent a driving force from a promotional point of view. to present themselves on the market as carbon free hotel companies ».
