Olbia, decline in Covid vaccinations among minors: appeal by the Assl

by admin

Here’s what parents need to do to immunize their children ages 12-17

OLBIA. The Assl of Olbia is recording a decline in vaccine bookings by the youngest. Thus it once again addresses the Gallura population of all age groups to bring them closer to vaccination.

In particular, the appeal is aimed at minors (from 12 to 17 years old), «who must present themselves for vaccination accompanied by a parent: it is not possible to delegate other people (grandparents, uncles, etc.). In the event that you are accompanied by only one parent, you must also bring with you the consent form signed by both parents and a copy of the identity document of the parent not present.

If the minor lives in a foster family or in a community, he can be accompanied by the custodial parent or by a community worker who must present himself at the vaccination center with appropriate documentation certifying the decision-making responsibility on the minor’s health choices, or with the delegation of the parent / guardian “.

The Assl also reminds that, although for organizational reasons it is always better to book, people aged 60 and over, school staff and health workers not yet immunized can access the Olbia vaccination center even without a reservation. Throughout the month of August the Olbia vaccination hub will always be open from Monday to Friday, from 8.30 to 16. (s.p.)
