Yesterday the Hungarian premier Viktor Orbán he said Hungary will be particularly careful to study the vaccine Johnson & Johnson and that indeed, he would also like to send experts from Budapest to inspect the plants of the company that developed the first single-dose vaccine against the coronavirus. These things are usually not dealt with by a member country of the European Union, but Orbán believes the situation is very alarming and therefore wants to use more caution. The premier’s words are above all a sign of distrust towards the EMA, which is investigating Johnson & Johnson after the US FDA blocked the vaccine. However, last week, when the director of the Chinese Center for Disease Control admitted that the effectiveness of Chinese vaccines “is not high enough”, the Hungarian premier did not show the same caution towards the Chinese company Sinopharm. , which he had himself vaccinated with and which was used for other Hungarian citizens.
