The Argentine presidentJavier Milei, defended his offensive comments directed towards his Colombian counterparts, Gustavo Petro, and Mexican counterparts, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, during an interview on the CNN en Español channel. Milei justified his actions by citing the alleged “aggressions” prior information received from them.
In his statements, Milei mentioned specific examples of comments and actions by Petro and López Obrador that he considered provocative. She used messages like “Here I leave you some things that Petro told me” and “some of AMLO’s many attacks” to accompany publications of journalistic articles that supported their claims. These included the comparison made by the Colombian Petro with Hitler and the label of “ultra conservative facho” attributed by the Mexican López Obrador,” he stressed.

During the interview with CNN en Español, Milei described Petro as “terrorist killer” and López Obrador as “ignorant.” This interview, originally scheduled for broadcast on Sunday, had a preview broadcast by the channel on Wednesday.
Milei’s statements arose in response to questions about the criticism directed towards him by López Obrador and Claudia Scheinbaum, the ruling party’s candidate in the upcoming Mexican elections.
