In an operation, the Neiva Metropolitan Police managed to intercept two women involved in drug trafficking in Palermo, Huila.

During a police action in the downtown sector, agents from quadrant 01 of the Palermo Police Station captured two women identified as “Angy and Marcela”, 19 and 21 years old respectively, with a significant amount of bazooka in his possession.

It is estimated that those detained They had approximately 50 grams of this substance ready for dosing and, presumably, for marketing. in various sectors of the municipality. The rapid intervention of the authorities made it possible to neutralize this threat and prevent its distribution in the community.

The two women were handed over to the competent authorities and will face charges for trafficking, manufacturing and carrying narcotics. A guarantee control judge is expected to determine his judicial situation in the coming days.

Colonel Alexander Castillo Marín, commander of the Neiva Metropolitan Police, made an urgent call to citizens to collaborate with the authorities in the fight against crime. He invited people to report any suspicious activity that represents a threat to security and citizen coexistence, using the emergency line 123 or by directly contacting the patrol of the nearest quadrant.

They recover a motorcycle

In another isolated incident, Neiva Metropolitan Police, thanks to timely citizen information, through communication with the emergency line 123, uniformed members of the FENIX Group, managed to recover a motorcycle.

This is how uniformed officers assigned to this Operational Group reached the La Florida neighborhood of commune 8, where through registration and control activities, they managed to recover a motorcycle that had been abandoned in a wooded area in this sector.
