In the gardens of the Government Palace, the Raising of the National Flag and the Singing of the National Anthem started punctually at 7 within the morning, with the presence of President Santiago Peña, First Lady Leticia Ocampos and the authorities that make up his Cabinet.
Later, he participated within the Laurel Wreath Offering Ceremony in Tribute to the Heroes of the Homeland.
At 8:30 a.m. the presence of the President of the Republic is scheduled for the TE DEUM, within the Metropolitan Cathedral of Asunción. Subsequently, at 9:30 a.m., the participation of the president and Government authorities within the Police and Military Parade on the Asunción Waterfront.
Throughout the day on Tuesday, May 14 and Wednesday, May 15, numerous actions are ready that invite residents to be protagonists of this essential date for the nation.
