Agreement between the Committee and the mayor: “Infinite legal cause, better start a common scientific table”
CONEGLIANO. There will not be a municipal consultative referendum against the use of pesticides, but a technical-scientific group will be set up to examine the impact of treatments in agriculture, and there will be more controls with penalties for offenders. The goal is to improve the coexistence between those who work the land and those who live in the midst of crops or cross the countryside.
THE SUMMIT IN THE TOWN HALL
On Monday 17 a summit was held in the town hall between the “Conegliano Committee without pesticides”, the municipal administration and the representatives of the Corsorzi of Docg and Doc Prosecco and the farmers’ trade association.
