Prosecutor’s Office will seek rapprochement between Yopal taxi drivers and the Labor Office – news

During the Unified Command Post led by the Yopal Mayor’s Office and in which representatives of the taxi drivers’ union participated, it was agreed that this June 7 the Attorney General’s Office together with the Government Secretariat will request the intervention of the Labor Office, with the purpose of elucidating the issue between taxi drivers and the companies that group the union.

In addition, it was agreed that the taxi drivers will meet with the representatives of the transport companies, in order to find a path that seeks a prompt solution to the problem and thus put the taxi service in the city to work.

It should be noted that one of the points requested by the taxi drivers to suspend the peaceful demonstrations was the issuance of the Yellow Card, which depends solely on the companies that join them. The latter have not been issued due to the lack of presentation of the social security by the drivers.

The conversations will continue between the parties, companies and taxi drivers, in order to find a quick and timely solution that does not harm those who use the taxi service in the city.

At the Unified Command Post, in addition to the government secretary Rodolfo Chaparro representing the Mayor’s Office, the Ombudsman, the Ombudsman’s Office, the Prosecutor’s Office, the Attorney General’s Office, the Police, the National Army, the Ministry of Mobility and the Air Force.
