The five bodies were found at the site Cinco Cerros of the Ayampe communityfrom this Manabi canton.
According to information from the Police, on Thursday night a group of approximately 20 armed people attacked a group of people who were in a hotel.
The criminals kidnapped eleven people, six of whom were adults and five minors.
One of the victimsmanaged to escape from the kidnappers and arriving early Friday morning he was able to notify the Police about the attack.
According to the Police, this person indicated that the others had been shot.
When the Police went to the site they found the bodies of five adults, who had stab wounds. bullet and they were close to each other.
The Police immediately began a search for the five minors who were still missing and hours later they managed to locate them alive in another canton.
The deceased were identified as Víctor Lascano (23), Anthony Benites (23), Julexi Benites, Carmen Cruz, and Jefferson Ortiz.
It was preliminarily reported that at least two of the deceased would be from the province of Santa Elena.
The Police confirmed that none of the victims had a criminal record. All the bodies were transferred to the Manta forensic center.
