Two distinct operations conducted by police officers
QUARTU. Three arrests in two different circumstances for aggravated home theft by agents of the city police station. The first was carried out in via Asproni following a request for intervention made by the owner of a home who, upon returning, discovered that unknown persons, after breaking the glass in the bedroom window, had stolen the sum of 2,000 euros. and a camera.
During the intervention, the agents viewed the images taken by a video surveillance system in which they recognized the perpetrator of the theft, a 48-year-old who was immediately found and arrested. Inside his house, the police found the camera removed shortly before. The man was arrested.
The second intervention instead occurred in Torre delle Stelle following a report made by a security officer who had noticed a couple wandering suspiciously inside the residential complex.
Also in this case the intervention he agents made it possible to identify and stop the couple (he 33 and she 30, residing in Quartu, both with police records, who were responsible for a theft inside a villa of owned by a French family. A 43-inch TV and a microwave oven were removed from the house. The couple was arrested and the judge, at the end of the validation hearing, after plea bargaining, sentenced the two to 2 years and 8 months of imprisonment and released them on parole.
