Train: Trips can be postponed free of charge

The railway announced: All passengers who would like to postpone their trip planned for Wednesday (January 24th) to Monday (January 29th) due to the GDL strike can use their ticket at an earlier or later date. In addition, according to Deutsche Bahn, other tariff and statutory passenger rights apply, so that, for example, a ticket refund is also possible under the appropriate conditions.

RE6 between Westerland and Hamburg-Altona: Between Westerland and Niebüll there is mainly a three-hour service during rush hour. Trains occasionally run on the route between Husum and Niebüll. The features of the Sylt Shuttle plus are open to local transport travelers between Niebüll and Westerland(Sylt). However, passengers should note that there is limited capacity. The lines RE7 and RE70 between Hamburg, Neumünster and Kiel According to the railway, they should run every two hours. Between Neumünster and Flensburg According to Deutsche Bahn, the trains will probably run every three hours. Passengers have to change trains in Neumünster. The RE8 and the RE80 between Lübeck and Hamburg should run every hour. The Regional train 81 from Bad Oldesloe to Hamburg should be served every two hours. The trains of the RB62 between Heide and Itzehoe are cancelled. The trains of the RB85 from Lübeck to Neustadt are cancelled. The X85 from Puttgarden to Lübeck is not affected by the strike.

Nordbahn and AKN not affected by the strike
