They represent more than half of the audience of 31.5 million beneficiaries of the 200 euro bonus: they are just over 16 million pensioners, citizenship income holders and unemployed people who meet the requirements of the Aid decree launched by the government and now under consideration by Parliament. To the large portion of 13.7 million pensioners to whom the one-off will arrive in July, there are 900 thousand subjects who benefit from the income support strongly desired by the Five Star Movement and another million and 450 thousand “recipients” of agricultural unemployment benefit and Naspi and Discoll.
Citizenship income: no more than one bonus per household
In July, together with the “monthly payment of competence”, 900 thousand holders of citizenship income will receive “ex officio” the bonus of 200 euros. This is one of the effects of the enlargement of the number of beneficiaries of the anti-inflation aid strongly requested before the passing of the decree by a large part of the majority. The only stake set by Palazzo Chigi and the Ministry of Economy is the one that limits the payment of the one-off payment to a single member of the family unit.
An “automatic” one-off payment reaches 13.7 million pensioners in July
There are 13.7 million retirees with a gross annual income not exceeding 35 thousand euros who with the coupon of July will see the “automatic” bonus of 200 euros, for a cost of 2.74 billion. In fact, it will not be necessary to submit specific requests to INPS. The Institute chaired by Pasquale Tridico, or in any case the paying social security institution, will have the task of carrying out the necessary checks on the actual income situation. Beneficiaries of the one-off will be the holders of one or more pension treatments, social allowances, treatments for civil invalids, blind and deaf and dumb and those accompanying retirement residing in Italy.
Bonus for 1.1 million workers with unemployment benefits
The 200 euro bonus will also have to be attributed to subjects who will receive Naspi and Discoll services on 30 June next. According to government estimates, the basin should consist of 1.1 million beneficiaries.
Aid also to 350,000 unemployed farmers
The final text of the decree also includes 350,000 agricultural unemployment recipients in the list of recipients of 200 euros. In this case, unlike pensioners, however, reference is not made to an automatic aid disbursement mechanism.
