In search of keeping the living legacy of Santa Marta to the new generations of Colombia, a conversation called “Santa Marta 500 years after Spain”which was attended by renowned personalities such as the Samarian and international singer Charles Vives, Alfredo Goenaga, Juan Charles Ulloa Correa, Francis Flores, Luis Philip Gutierrez, Heraldo Spinoza, Antonio Rios and Jose Francisco Jimenezwho met with the objective of strengthening the historical ties between Santa Marta and the country of Spain.
