Replacement of water pipes, new wells and tankers: here are the 4.2 million euro anti-drought works

The Civil Protection will decide where to invest the Government funds. Councilor Riccardi: we await the order and the appointment of the commissioner

UDINE. From the replacement of water pipes, to the construction of temporary ones, up to the construction of large wells for the derivation of underground water, complete with barrel containers to be connected to the aqueducts for daily replenishment.

These are just some of the works needed to cope with the consequences of drought. The overall plan provides for an investment of 16 million euros, but at the moment the Regional Civil Protection has at its disposal the 4.2 million allocated the other day by the Government to Friuli Venezia Giulia.
