The young animal sighted near the Armenian island
(ANSA) – VENICE, MAY 31 – A young roe deer swimming in the Venice lagoon. It is the incredible spectacle that people who are on the shores of the Armenian island, or sailed nearby, witnessed today, when they realized that the one swimming in the water, with the nose pointed forward, was an ungulate. , initially mistaken for a fawn. So far, no one has understood where the roe deer came from, perhaps from Treporti, therefore a very distant point of the lagoon, where another specimen was warned days ago.
The animal managed to reach the staircase of a landing, climbing the island. In the meantime, someone had alerted the firefighters, who managed to approach the roe deer, putting it in safety, and blindfolding it, until a veterinarian arrived.
