An e-commerce platform called “SAIGE Store” was launched this Thursday, January 25, 2024 in Lomé to the delight of traders and businessmen in the sale of household appliances and electronic products.
This platform, which results from the partnership between the SAIGE Group and the HAIER Group, facilitates the lives and transactions of African traders and businessmen who will no longer need to make risky trips or lose money for their stays. , as well as incidentals with the risk of being scammed.
According to the president of SAIGE and also Mayor of the Agoè-Nyivé 1 commune, Kovi Adanbonou, Africa is characterized today as a growing market economically, demographically and digitally.
“The development of e-commerce in our dear Africa offers a new distribution channel via ever greater ease of access to the Internet. Thus responding to needs expressed by populations and major challenges for large international groups, like HAIER, e-commerce can help restore Africa to its status as a central continent of commerce,” said underlined the president of the SAIGE Group.
He indicated that through this SAIGE-HAIER synergy, Togolese or African wholesalers can now place their orders online, make payments securely and be delivered to their destination.
For the mayor, this partnership allows importers and entrepreneurs to make the platform a showcase for their activities.
For his part, Mr Junior ADOHINZIN, Hainergy/HAIER West Africa Director, said that SAIGE had knocked on the right door by placing their trust in them.
“Our partner “SAIGE” has come to the right place for an experienced technical partner on whom it can count to achieve its objective which is to satisfy the varied needs of its customers in Togo and even beyond the Togolese borders”, he said.
He also specified that Haier believed in this project, and is ready to support SAIGE whenever the need arises because Haier is determined to work with Togo to promote the improvement of economic prosperity.
