NATIONAL (special envoy) The Meteorological Directorate launched a special bulletin for the storm system that will affect the national territory. Very hot weather is expected to return this Wednesday.
Meteorologist Violeta González reported that a hot environment is expected again today with maximum temperatures between 35 and 41 °C in the Eastern region, while in the Chaco around 42 °C.
Regarding rain, it is expected that for the center, north and east of the Eastern region, as well as for the east of the Chaco, it will occur in the form of showers with occasional thunderstorms during the afternoon today; while in the south of the country more widespread rains are expected, a condition that would spread to other departments during the course of the day on Thursday.
The occurrence of significant phenomena is not ruled out, which will include rain, gusts of winds of 100 km/h, storms and probable hail.
The departments and the period of impact:
Ñeembucú, Misiones, Itapúa, Caazapá and southern Paraguarí: from Wednesday afternoon and until early Thursday afternoon.
Asunción, Central, central and northern Paraguarí, Cordillera, Guairá, Alto Paraná and Caaguazú: from the morning until Thursday night.
Presidente Hayes, center and south of Boquerón, San Pedro, Concepción, Canindeyú and Amambay: from the afternoon until Thursday night.
