TREVISO. Divided entrances, capacity limits, tickets for concerts and for the refreshment area. And the Green nightmare passed on the horizon. The limitations are many and obligatory, but Suoni di Marca this year from 29 July to 7 August will try to make the Treviso people savor a pinch of normality.
Maximum 5000 on the walls
After the very small scrap edition of Villa Margherita (2020), this year the music and food stands will return and the numbers are not so small: overall in the festival area they can reach a maximum of five thousand people. Eight hundred seats in the concert area, 1500 those, always seated, to eat, the rest are available to those who want to walk in the market area.
Also the paid refreshment area
To limit access – in addition to the possible fears that could discourage some to go to the walls – the fact that everything is payment. The concert ticket must be bought on ticket and also allows access to the restaurant area, while a contribution of two euros will be requested for the latter. “We don’t want too many people,” said Paolo Gatto, patron of the event which in 2021 is now in its 31st edition. Security measures will be maximum, and the Green pass nightmare looms which, if imposed for concerts, would risk compromising the event.
Divided areas, rules and buffer
There will be three entrances: one from Porta Santi Quaranta will be dedicated exclusively to those who have tickets for the concerts, while the other two – one always at Santi Quaranta but separate, and the other from Porta Caccianiga – will be for the restaurant area. The numbers are those indicated by the regulations, which require a space of at least four square meters for each person: the area used by the festival will be 25 thousand square meters.
The mask will be mandatory for walking around the various areas, but can be removed while seated in the concert area or to eat on the tables set up. A completely empty buffer area will also be created between the two zones.

Thirteen restaurateurs who have joined and will bring their specialties to the walls: El Rincon de Espana, La Lamp, Albertini, Galloway, Osteria del Raboso, Teste Matte, Tropical Pizza, Big America, Maharaja Indian restaurant, Gusti di Sicilia, San Gabriel, Potato mania, Venetian Cicchetterie.
