(ANSA) – NEW YORK, FEBRUARY 13 – Joe Biden criticizes the NFL for the shortage of African-American coaches to lead the clubs, fueling a controversy that has been going on for days after the accusations of racism brought against the American football league. In the traditional pre-Super Bowl interview, the president says it’s a matter of “decency” to have more African American coaches.
“The league has a lot of black athletes and the idea that there aren’t enough skilled African American coaches to run the teams” is an idea that doesn’t hold up, it takes “decency,” Biden says.
