A new dental chair with all its accessories, dental x-ray equipment and supplies for various treatments are part of the improvements introduced to the Hospital.

The strengthening of the Imaging and Dentistry service was a felt necessity, taking into account that the X-ray room had conventional equipment with limited operational capacity, with direct benefit to families with limited economic resources who visit the reference establishment daily.

“We are the only District Hospital in the region”

Dr. Verónica Silvero, director of the Santa Rita District Hospital, mentioned that they are the axis of the South Monday zone, in an area of ​​influence that encompasses six surrounding districts. “We are level II of care, we are the only District Hospital in the entire area, we cover six districts such as Naranjal, San Cristóbal, Raúl Peña, Iruña, Tavapy, Santa Rosa del Monday. He noted that on average they serve about 6,700 patients monthly in the different services, offices, emergencies, hospitalizations, procedures and outpatient clinics without discrimination against any compatriot or foreigner who comes from other urban, suburban or rural communities.
