Beyond 10 thousand kilometers of cycle paths in Emilia-Romagna by 2025, therefore by the end of the legislature. The Region is pushing forward on soft mobility, with the aim of further strengthening the supply of cycle paths available to citizens and thus encouraging the use of ‘two wheels’ safelyfor more livable cities, with less traffic and better air quality.

The news was given by the regional councilor for Mobility and Transport, Andrea Corsiniduring first episode of the new format “The Region responds”: a series of video interviews, 90 seconds each, which will see the councilors of the council led by Stefano Bonaccini answer some questions raised by users on the most current issues in Emilia-Romagna. The video interviews are carried out in the new television studio of the Region, within the multimedia spaces available to the Council and the Legislative Assembly, and will be published, starting today, on the organisation’s social profiles, Facebook e Instagram.

In the first episode (Watch the video are Facebook e are Instagram) Councilor Corsini responds to comment by a user which highlights the need to implement more cycle pathsconfirming the regional Administration’s commitment to ‘green’ mobility.

“As the Emilia-Romagna Region we are engaged in a powerful effort to increase the supply of cycle paths in the regional territory – he explains Corsini-. Today we are at over 9 thousand kilometres, which is a lot, but we are not stopping: in fact, in recent weeks new tenders have been launched, for a total of over 5 million euros, to further strengthen the allocation throughout the regional territory, to the sea , in internal areas, on the hills and in the Apennines. And we will end this legislature with over 10 thousand kilometers of cycle paths throughout Emilia-Romagna”.

The Region responds: the new format

Ninety seconds to talk about Emilia-Romagna: “The Region responds” is the new format of video interviews created byInformation and communication agency, in collaboration with nice tv dedicated to giving direct response to citizens on some of the questions most expressed on the social profiles of the regional Administration, starting from the most current issues affecting Emilia-Romagna. Protagonists of the video interviews, which will be published on the pages Instagram e Facebook of the Region, the regional councilors, called to respond on these issues through user comments, selected from those published on the regional social profiles. The videos are shot in the new recording studio in Viale Aldo Moro 52, in Bologna.
