In order to celebrate the arrival of the “May Day” International Labor Day, on the evening of April 29, the “Chinese Dream·Beauty of Labor” 2024 Hubei Ezhou City “May Day” employee art performance and model promotion event was held at the city’s primary and secondary school student off-campus activity center.
The event kicked off with the large-scale dance “Proud Laborer”, and the cheerful performance ignited the enthusiasm of the audience. Chorus, dance, folk arts (including performance singing, song and dance, drama, instrumental music, music, poetry and painting, etc.), sketches and other programs took turns to show the touching deeds of the employees who stick to their posts and serve the people in a rich and colorful way, with the motherland and the heart at heart The people’s feelings for home and country and their pioneering, innovative and high-spirited spirit.
During the event, 15 National Workers Pioneer Award-winning team representatives, 13 May 1st Labor Medal winners, and 13 May 1st Labor Certificate award-winning unit representatives gave collective presentations.
In this cultural performance, Baowu Group Echeng Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.’s rap rap “Iron Man”, Hubei International Logistics Airport Co., Ltd.’s music and poetry painting “Sail in the New Era”, Ezhou Changda Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd. The company’s union’s song and dance “Big City Takes Off” and other programs incorporate “labor characteristics” and “local elements” into situational performances. They sweat in the company team and project sites, and dazzle on the stage, showing the striving and upward style of front-line workers.
Beautiful songs, humorous skits, and inspiring dances fully demonstrated the style of the working class in the new era and won bursts of applause from the audience. As the prelude of the song “New Ezhou People’s Love Story” played, the scene slowly unfolded, telling the story of a group of promising New Ezhou people who landed, took root and sprouted in this hot land, and wrote about their family, friendship and love.
At the end of the event, the large-scale song and dance “Labor is the Most Glorious” pushed the atmosphere to another climax. The audience stood up and sang in chorus. The passionate singing brought the literary and art promotion event to an end.
