Daisy Hair referred to the serious fires that have occurred in recent days in different parts of the national territory, pointing out that the Attorney General’s Office will open disciplinary investigations into several entities for the alleged responsibilities they could have for not being prepared to deal with emergencies that keep the authorities alert.
According to Attorney Generalthere would be possible errors and negligence, since warnings had been previously sent about what the country would face climatically for this time of year, and they were not listened to or complied with.
“In October of last year, in 2023, we issued circular 16 where we made all the recommendations and calls for attention to the corresponding entities so that they prepare for what we are seeing today with the forest fires, they did not prepare and we are seeing the consequences,” he began by saying.
