This year, the country will become one of the first countries in Central America to have the first Artificial Intelligence laboratory that will be intended for companies and businesses.
This project will be created by the young Salvadoran entrepreneur Kevin Josué Cruz, a systems engineer from Stanford University in the United States.
The young man, specialized in software development, is exporting computer and artificial intelligence services to the United States, Canada, the United Arab Emirates and Central America.
The professional commented that five years ago he founded Tree Cloud Technologies in El Salvador, a company that has developed around 200 AI projects. The company has also created 95 jobs.
The company also trained 21 young people, and some have managed to emigrate to other national and foreign companies in which they have expanded their opportunities.
Likewise, since last year, the Salvadoran is studying a master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, applied to the generation of synthetic data, at the International University of Valencia, Spain.
With the knowledge acquired and the launch of the laboratory, Kevin Cruz hopes to recruit and concentrate the largest number of young talents in El Salvador for this project.
“I have received support from the Technology and Innovation specialists of Invest in El Salvador to be able to export my services in Europe, show part of my catalog of services which demonstrate that technology can be developed in El Salvador,” said Cruz.
