A full day of playing games under the Spanish sun. And get paid for it too. It sounds like a dream job for those who enjoy playing games. Electronic Arts, the well-known games developer, is looking for a Flemish person who wants to do it.

“When playing is your job, every day is even more fun.” It is one of the slogans of Electronic Arts, the American computer game giant that also has a hub in our country and is known for games such as Madden NFL 23, It Taks Two and Battlefield 2042.

To test new games before they come onto the market, the company is now looking for a Flemish person who wants to test games in Madrid (Spain). And that person is also paid for it. So you heard it right. Vacancy for the position: game tester. Still in Madrid.

Linguistic quality

“Your main role is to verify the linguistic quality of products/games and ensure they follow EA procedures and requirements before being certified by EA’s Compliance & Certification group. In this case it concerns Dutch versions of games,” it said.

The candidate they are looking for must be at least 18 years old and be able to correctly report any bugs, flaws or issues in Dutch and English, so that they can be adjusted before new games are launched.

Interested parties must… know something about computers, the video game industry and platforms.
