On December 20, the closing ceremony of the First National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in Foshan, Guangdong Province. The current competition opened on December 18, with the theme of “Collecting the essence of science and technology and innovation leading the future”. There are four groups including innovation competition, entrepreneurial competition, overseas (overseas) competition and lead-opening competition, with about 1,400 competitions. The project uses roadshows and defenses as the main display format. Offline live competitions and online cloud competitions are combined. After 3 days of fierce competition, the four categories produced 57 gold medals, 91 silver medals, and 125 bronze medals. During the competition, a post-doctoral work results display area of ​​nearly 9,000 square meters was also set up. Provinces, regions, cities and some universities, scientific research institutes, key laboratories, and post-doctoral innovation platforms participated in the conference and set up exhibitions, and synchronized online exhibitions with the help of VR technology. Attracted 18,000 visitors. At the same time, the exchange of post-doctoral talents and the transfer of scientific research results were also held, providing more than 2,000 high-quality positions, and reaching thousands of work intentions. More than 200 companies and more than 40 well-known national venture capital institutions participated in technology transaction docking, 692 achievement transformation projects were negotiated and docked one-on-one, 54 projects were signed on-site, and the amount of intended cooperation was 1.127 billion yuan.
