Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, April 7 – The General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China recently issued a “Notice on Carrying out Party Discipline Study and Education throughout the Party.” The notice aims to thoroughly study and implement the revised “Regulations on Disciplinary Punishments of the Communist Party of China” from April to July 2024.
The Notice emphasizes the importance of adhering to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and focuses on addressing the issues of party members and cadres who may not fully understand or follow party rules and disciplines. It calls for serious study of the Regulations, internalizing discipline, and strengthening self-discipline among party members.
The Party discipline study and education will be integrated into daily life and conducted regularly, emphasizing the importance of combining personal self-study with concentrated learning. It also stresses the need for warning education and analysis of disciplinary violations to educate party members and cadres around them.
The Notice also mandates that party committees at all levels prioritize the study and education of party discipline as an important political task, and ensure proper organization and supervision in its implementation. It also calls for the prevention of formalism and opposes “low-level redness” and “high-level blackness.”
This initiative underscores the Party’s commitment to strengthening discipline, loyalty, and integrity among its members, promoting a culture of compliance and responsibility within the Party.
