This Tuesday in a meeting with Julio Villagrán, the representative of FMLN war veterans, Carlos Ruiz, mentioned that Salvadoran society is concerned that a single legislature can do whatever it wants, because a group is trying to subjugate the population. , in order to achieve their own political objectives.
“It is not for nothing that everyone worries that a single legislature will be able to do whatever it wants, breaking the constitutional thread. The government aspires to remain a dictatorship for a very long time” says Ruiz.
For Ruiz, the use of the emergency regime to combat crime is a fallacy, and that in reality the government is using it to contain the people so that they do not protest.
“The state of exception is for what is to come, when the people and their group protest they are going to come in with everything” says Carlos Ruiz.
In this sense, the war veteran highlighted that if the people do not organize, they will not transform reality, pointing out that neoliberalism has destroyed the labor movement with the law, for this reason the workers must raise their voices.
“Tomorrow, which is International Workers’ Day, I call on you to defend your rights. If your right to free union organization is violated, you must fight. Let’s see if the bosses of the companies let you move forward.” mentioned the FMLN war veterans representative
Regarding the relations that El Salvador has with China, Ruiz mentioned that this country has a criterion where each problem of a nation, they are the ones who must solve, for that reason they have no problems establishing diplomatic relations with any country.
“China has open relations with anyone, they are based on the criterion that the political, economic and social problem of each society must be resolved by each society” Carlos Ruiz pointed out.
