Guangdong Provincial Delegation Discusses Government Work Report at National People’s Congress
The Guangdong Provincial delegation recently held an open group meeting at the Second Session of the 14th National People’s Congress to review the government work report, plan reports and drafts, and budget reports and drafts. During the meeting, representatives focused on various topics such as the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, leadership in the manufacturing industry, the development of a strong education province, and more.
The meeting was attended by 225 Chinese and foreign reporters from 102 media outlets, who reported on the event as representatives discussed their understanding, experiences, and suggestions. Various delegates, including Zhang Hu, deputy to the National People’s Congress and member of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Committee, emphasized the importance of focusing on the economy, projects, and development to achieve a positive economic recovery.
Other representatives, such as Huang Zhihao, deputy to the National People’s Congress and mayor of Zhuhai, spoke about supporting and serving the construction of the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone. They suggested innovative strategies to promote investment and strengthen connections with Hong Kong, Macao, and sister cities.
Li Dongsheng, deputy to the National People’s Congress and chairman and CEO of TCL Technology Group Co., Ltd., emphasized the need for enterprises to invest in the future to have a future, particularly in the development of new technologies and materials. Representatives from various sectors, including agriculture, education, and culture, also shared their insights and recommendations for promoting growth and development in their respective fields.
