On the afternoon of the same day, the expedition ceremony of the Jiangxi Provincial Medical Team Aid to Shanghai was held in the West Square of Nanchang Railway Station. The medical team consists of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University, Jiangxi Provincial People’s Hospital and other hospitals, as well as doctors and nurses from Jiujiang, Ganzhou, Ji’an, Fuzhou and other districts and cities.

It is understood that the Jiangxi Provincial Aid Shanghai Medical Team has more than 1,000 medical staff, mainly specializing in the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, the Department of Intensive Medicine, the Department of Infectious Diseases, and the Department of Hospital Infection Management. Each member of the medical team is equipped with protective materials for 15 days. The total of more than 3,000 boxes of protective materials, weighing about 1.5 tons, will be brought to Shanghai with the team.

In order to ensure the quickest arrival of the medical team and protective materials in Shanghai from Jiangxi Province, Nanchang Railway Station opened a “green channel” and dispatched more than 60 party members to assist in the shipment of protective materials. The Nanchang passenger section formed a party member commando team to lead the crew members to strictly kill the train in advance.

According to the railway department, this G1394 high-speed train to Shanghai will run for 3 hours and 52 minutes, and no passenger transportation will be handled along the way. It will arrive at Shanghai Hongqiao at 21:50 that night. In addition, some members of the medical team will also arrive at Shanghai Hongqiao at 22:59 that night by taking the G1376 high-speed train from Nanchang West Station. (over)
