Colombia mourns the death of the prominent journalist and former foreign minister, Rodrigo Pardo García-Peña.
Pardo’s death was recorded today at the age of 65 in the city of Bogotá.
With training as an economist from the Universidad de los Andes and a master’s degree from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University, Pardo left an indelible mark on the history of journalism in Colombia.
They are career was marked by a path full of success in the field of journalism. As editorial director of Semana Magazine and director of Noticias RCN, director of El Espectador Pardo left an indelible mark on Colombian journalism, being recognized for his professionalism and dedication to the truth.
In addition, Pardo was a relevant actor in Colombian politics, playing important roles during different governments.
