Lu.com, July 9 (Reporter Li Haijing) On July 8, the launching ceremony of the construction of Shandong National Traditional Chinese Medicine Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone was held in Jinan.
The National TCM Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone is the first TCM demonstration zone constructed by the state in a province, and it is a major reform task deployed by the Party Central Committee and the State Council. On December 14, 2021, five departments including the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine approved and agreed that seven provinces (cities) including Shandong will be established as the first batch of national demonstration zones for comprehensive reform of traditional Chinese medicine.
Sun Jiye, vice governor of Shandong Province, pointed out that all relevant departments at all levels in the province must firmly anchor the goal of “going ahead and opening up new bureaus”, and speed up the construction of the national comprehensive reform demonstration area of traditional Chinese medicine. Qin Huaijin, deputy director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, expressed warm congratulations on the launch of the demonstration zone on behalf of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He hoped to further intensify the inclination, adhere to the innovation of the system and mechanism, and launch a batch of reform experiences that can be promoted and replicated as soon as possible.
At the launching ceremony, Wang Xinlu, former vice chairman of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and a national famous Chinese medicine doctor, spoke on behalf of Chinese medicine experts, Wang Guiying, deputy mayor of Jinan City, spoke on behalf of 16 cities, and Xi Yan, director of the Provincial Health Commission and director of the Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, introduced our province The establishment of the National Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the development of related work.
After the launching ceremony, on-site activities such as TCM free consultation, TCM interactive experience, traditional health preservation techniques display, and light show on Jinan Jingshi East Road were carried out.
