Tragic Murder Leaves Family in Urgent Need of Financial Help
A horrific murder took place in Mafang Town, Yanling County, Henan Province on the eighth day of the Lunar New Year, leaving six people injured, two of them in critical condition, and a pregnant woman suffering a miscarriage. The perpetrator, identified as Liu Fengqiang, used fire-breathing equipment to commit the heinous crime, resulting in devastating consequences for the victim’s family.
According to reports from Dawan News, the perpetrator, who is a distant relative of the victims, entered the family’s home and factory with the fire-breathing equipment, causing significant injuries to several family members. Two children, a pregnant woman, and the elderly were among those harmed in the horrifying incident.
One family member, Mr. Zhang, described the scene upon arriving home after receiving a distressing call from his mother. “I saw burns on my two daughters. They were shouting, ‘I’m scared, I’m scared,'” he recounted. The perpetrator had already fled the scene by the time Mr. Zhang arrived, leaving behind a trail of destruction and suffering.
The Yanling County Public Security Bureau reported that the suspect, Liu Fengqiang, was captured in Enshi City, Hubei Province on February 19, offering a glimmer of hope for the family seeking justice. However, the victims are now faced with another daunting challenge – financial hardship.
In an emotional plea, Mr. Zhang revealed that his family is in dire need of financial help to cover the medical expenses of the injured family members. With multiple family members requiring intensive care, the mounting costs have placed a significant burden on the family. “We are in urgent need of funds to save lives, and we beg kind-hearted people in society to help us,” Mr. Zhang implored.
The tragic incident has left the family devastated, with their home destroyed and numerous family members fighting for their lives. The community is being urged to come together and support the family in their time of need as they navigate the aftermath of this senseless act of violence.
