The Presidium of the Second Session of the 14th Provincial People’s Congress in Zhejiang Province recently held its fourth meeting, where several important resolutions were passed.
During the meeting, a show of hands vote was taken on the government work report, the implementation of Zhejiang Province’s national economic and social development plan in 2023 and the 2024 national economic and social development plan, the implementation of the provincial and provincial budgets in 2023, and the implementation of the national economic and social development plan in 2024. Draft resolutions on provincial and provincial budgets were adopted, as well as draft resolutions on the work report of the Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee, the Provincial Higher People’s Court, and the Provincial People’s Procuratorate.
The meeting also heard the Legal Committee’s explanation on the revision of the “Regulations on Optimizing the Business Environment of Zhejiang Province (Revised Draft)”, passed the voting draft of the regulations, and submitted it to the general meeting for voting. Additionally, the report of the General Assembly Secretariat on the handling of the motions proposed by the representatives was heard and approved.
The meeting was presided over by the executive chairman of the presidium and the military and civilians. Executive Chairman of the Presidium Yi Lianhong, Chen Jinbiao, Gao Xingfu, Wu Jing, Zhao Guangjun, Lu Jun and members of the Presidium attended the meeting.
The adoption of these draft resolutions and the passing of the voting draft of the regulations represent important steps in the governance and development of Zhejiang Province.
