The Region’s idea: vaccinating children by opening new hubs

The centers should become operational in Udine, Pordenone and Trieste. In the 5-11 range, an audience of 68,000 residents is involved

UDINE. Three new vaccination hubs – in Udine, Pordenone and Trieste – and, indeed, perhaps even a fourth center (in the case of Gorizia) in which to start, from the second half of the month, anti-Covid administrations to children aged between 5 and 11 years.

This is the “plan” of the Region unveiled yesterday by the Councilor for Health Riccardo Riccardi. “Commissioner Francesco Paolo Figliuolo – he explained – has ensured the arrival of the doses for the little ones by December 15 and we are organizing to open the vaccination agendas, and start the administration, from the following weekend.
